There are 3 Sisters in the community. Two sisters work in the St. Mary’s centre for the Paralytic and disabled at Gopshitta.

One Sister is set aside for Pastoral Work and visit to the families. The Paralytic centre which was started here was shifted to Gopshitta in the year 2012, due to want of more space.

The Institute of the Franciscans Of St. Mary Of The Angels, was founded in 1871 by Fr. Chrysostom O.F.M. ( Ferdinand Potton) and Sr. M. Chrysostom of the Cross (Caroline Rurange).
