The FSMA Generalate was shifted to India in the year 2013. This decision was taken at the XVIII General Chapter held at St. Mary’s Ashram, Jaipur. The first Superior General who started functioning from India was Sr. M. Cyrilla. Her office was attached to St. Jerome Convent, Kashimira, Mumbai.

In October 2019, the XIX General Chapter was held at St. Mary’s Convent, Mhow and then Sr. M. Roshan was elected as the Superior General of the FSMA Institute. She is assisted by her Council for the animation of the Institute which is spread out to different countries like France, England, Brazil, Ethiopia, Tanzania and India.

At the VI Joint Provincial Chapter of Mhow - Jaipur provinces held at Jaipur in October 2024, Sr. M. Elsa was elected as the Provincial Superior. She is assisted by her Council for the spiritual animation of the province and the missionary involvement of the sisters in different communities spread out in the 9 states of India.
